To reduce the spread of Covid-19, all public library premises in Uppsala are closed until further notice. From January 7, four temporary Internet points will be open where visitors can access computers and print, scan and copy documents. You cannot borrow or return books at the Internet points.
Four locations
The Internet access points are open Monday to Friday 12noon–4pm and located at:
- City Library, entrance/the glass courtyard
- Education and job centre, Gottsunda Centre
- Sävja Culture House, entrance
- Storvreta Library, entrance
Safety
It should be safe to visit the Internet access points. There will be hosts on site to make sure there is no crowding and that hand sanitiser is available. The equipment is cleaned regularly to avoid the spread of the virus.
No borrowing or returns
You cannot borrow or return books at the Internet access points. Overdue charges do not apply during the closure period. You can continue to hold on to library items at home and return them once we reopen.
